I have been working as a lighting cameraman/DoP for over 20 years now, firstly staff at Channel Four TV, and have bases in both Harrogate North Yorkshire and London. I am skilled in all aspects of shooting for television from PSC, Drama, Documentary, Commercials, OB, live and studio. I have shot in all conceivable styles and locations all over the world. I am familiar with all cameras and more recently have been using the RED camera, Canon 5D MKII and 7D, Sony F3 and FS-100, Sony XDCam, the Sony F900R, Sony, EX1/3 and Panasonic's Varicam and 101 along with a Pro35 and 35mm prime lenses. I am also familiar with tracking vehicles (including high speed work), dolly and focus track, motion control and aerial filming. I can be hired either on my own or with equipment and use a pool of very experienced sound recordists and camera assistants if required. I can also provide transport in the form of either a Volvo estate or crew van.
